Great Set for the Money

I shopped around quite a bit before finally settling on this set and I am very pleased with my purchase. I don't understand a lot of the complaints.
The fact that the set is a bit heavy is a plus in my book, not a minus. I would have been greatly disappointed if they would have been light and flimsy. I checked out a few different good sets at bed, bath and beyond before buying on-line, and I didn't think any of the big name brand hard adonized sets were any lighter than these.
One of the big selling points for me for this set is the fact that they are oven safe to 500 degrees. I have a few recipes I use all the time that start out on the stove and then move into a 375 or 400 oven, or finish under the broiler and this set can take that. Some of the others I compared have handles that won't take that kind of heat. Despite the metal handles, I am very happy that they don't get hot on the stove.
I don't put my pots and pans in the dishwasher because my family of five fills up the dishwasher too quickly, so handwashing is no problem for me either. They wash so easily anyway, and I have never had a problem with food sticking to the rivets where the handle handles attach.
I bought this set at a very discounted price here at Amazon and am thrilled with the purchase. Cooking is so much more enjoyable with great tools.
I haven't had mine as long as some of the others here, but so far they are holding up just fine. I use them every day, and if they do end up looking a bit worn any time soon, I will still be satisfied that I got more than my money's worth.

I've owned this set for 5 years now and have nothing but good things to say! I use my pots daily and I hand wash for the most part, only because it is so effortless to get them clean. I use only bamboo or plastic ware on it, so scratching has never been a problem. The handles on the pots and lids do get hot so keep those ovenmits handy! The cooking is fantastic! I can cook all day long on high and not burn anything! The size is really great especially if you have a big family you are cooking for. I've not tried them in the oven, because I have ovenware, but I know they are safe up to 500F. I highly recommend this set, you will not be disapointed! :-)
Great cookware

For everyday use, this non-stick cookware set is tough to beat. Each saucepan and stockpot is thick with a tempered-glass, stainless steel lined lid. Stainless steel handles are oven-safe so no need to transfer food to a different pan for baking. Washing is easy, with the exception of the weight of these pans. They are quite heavy. The glass lids fog more often than not, but it's nice when they don't. I'm very satisfied with them.

This set is awesome! For the price, you can not go wrong! Great for every day use! Yes, the glass lids do fog up, but with how easy they are to clean - I don't even consider it an issue. For those that are having problems with exterior scratches - place a dish towel between them when stacking in the cupboard - works like a charm!!

I ordered the Anolon Advanced instead of the professional pans (I read the reviews). As with any cookware line, there are different levels according to your budget. I was told by a friend who does cooking demonstrations that the advanced set is wonderful. After using the pans for about a year, I totally agree. I even have (ugh) teenagers cooking with these pans and they haven't ruined them yet (like all the other non stick pans I have brought home).
My advice: Go for the Anolon Advanced- leave these pans for........ |
I love these pots!

I have had a set of Anolon Professional pots for 7 years, and I use them constantly. I love everything about them. They are a breeze to clean, and I've never had a problem with scratching. The glass lids are great. They are extremely durable and well-made, and the nonstick surface has lasted without problems. They are solid and a little heavy, but not too heavy. I also have a set of All Clad pots, and I like these at least as much, if not more. They are the best bargain out there.
Love them!!!

This set of pots and pans is awesome for those who enjoy cooking, yet don't want to deal with hard to clean dishes. The nonstick works like a charm and the pots are heavy and come in great usable sizes for every cooking need (except sauteing, where a stainless steel saute pan would probably be best). I hope to have them for a long time. Great deal on amazon!

My husband and I registered for and received these pans for a wedding gift almost 7 years ago. We think they're great. You're not supposed to put them in the dishwasher, but I do...the only problem is that they have lightened slightly in color. That's well worth not hand-washing to me! They distribute heat well, nice size variety. I recommend them completely!

Excellent quality, shipping, packaging, and value. There's not a bit of wobble in the handles, the heat conduction is very even, using medium heat, and it's super easy to keep clean. VERY happy with this purchase through Amazon!

I bought the set as a Christmas gift to the delight of my daughter who was using a mismatch of old cookware. The sizes are great for her family and the easy cleanup is valuable in a very busy home.

I just wanted to find my wife the best cookware I could find for the money. Anolon lives up to the reviews I read about it and I couldn't be happier. To top it off, I got a great deal purchasing this set through Amazon at the time and it was just in time for Christmas. My wife loves it and I'm reaping the benefits with awesome meals! Solid workmanship, no sticking, easy to clean. What more could you expect or ask for?
Best cookware I have had experience with

I am surprised by the other reviews regarding the nonstick surface of this cookware. I have had this same set for over 4 years and the nonstick surface is still great. I cook regularly and always use this cookware. I am careful with it though - I don't use metal utensils and always wash by hand. Given that food never sticks to the surface, the pots and pans are really easy wash to wash by hand too.
Friends and family members have similar sets by other manufacturers (e.g., Calphalon) and my Analon Professional set is by far the best.
Not only does this set have a better nonstick surface than other sets, but it also has a much more sturdy design (I have dropped the tempered glass lids on my tile floor several times, and they have never broken), provides for more even cooking, and have a superior design overall.
In fact, the only complaint I have about this cookware is that the handles don't stay as cool as they should. But, this is a minor flaw that I am willing to deal with. |

I am very pleased with this cookware. It is very easy to clean up, heats evenly and makes cooking much more enjoyable. I cook mostly from scratch and use my cookware often. For the price it is an excellent product.
